This means you can stain even if there is rain in the forecast for that day. As long as there is no standing water on the deck, Wood Tux will deliver a beautiful, rich high quality finish. Place a board in a 5-gallon pail of water. Allow it to soak for a minute or two, remove it and shake off the excess water. Allow it to dry only until you cannot shake a drip of water off of the board. Stain the board by applying a generous coat of Wood Tux Stain, allow it to dwell a moment on the surface (perhaps a bit longer than you would if it were completely dry) then back brush to remove the excess.
