We will reply to your comment shortly· 02/03/2009HD80 is a very powerful stripper. Here is a list of other deck strippers (http://www.opwdecks.com/wooddeckstrippers.htm) that should work as well.
We will reply to your comment shortly· 01/31/2009HD-80 (http://www.opwdecks.com/hd-80-wood-stripper-2.htm) is great for those tough to get off sealers, including when you desire to remove all old TWP prior to recoating.
We will reply to your comment shortly· 01/31/2009I used a deck stripper but it only removed about 50%. The stain was Behr from Home Depot. What should i use to get off the rest?
We will reply to your comment shortly· 01/25/2009It is normal to need to strip off old coatings once in awhile. What happens is that the coatings buildup, resulting in lack of proper penetration. I would use one of these deck strippers (http://www.opwdecks.com/wooddeckstrippers.htm) All should work well but some are easier to apply then others. Make sure that you remove as much as possible. The use of a deck brightener (http://www.opwdecks.com/wooddeckbrighteners.htm) is very important when done.
We will reply to your comment shortly· 01/24/2009We have a 10 year old deck that we have used TWP on every two years. The TWP works great, but now we would like to remove all of the old TWP down to the bare wood and start over with a fresh coat of TWP. What would be the best way to achieve this? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
