altOur #1 Selling Paver Sealer Product!

SuperSeal Brick Paver Sealer is a clear non-yellowing solvent based acrylic sealer that will protect your Concrete Brick Pavers and Decorative Concrete surfaces from the sun's U.V. damaging rays, heavy traffic, oil, and other foreign objects. SuperSeal will enhance the natural appearance of your Brick Pavers and Decorative Concrete with a "wet" look but will not make the Brick Pavers slippery. SuperSeal Brick Paver Sealer can be used for Stamped Concrete, Stamped Cement, Decorative Cement, Concrete Brick Pavers, Acid Stained Cement, Concrete Stains, and Exposed Aggregate.

SuperSeal Brick Paver Sealer is a much higher solid content (25%) than similar water based (7-10%) products.

SuperSeal Brick Paver Sealer can be sprayed on with the Chapin 1949 Concrete Sprayer or applied with a 1/2" roller cover. It is to thick for a plastic "inexpensive" sprayer.

SuperSeal Brick Paver Sealer will help solidify sand in between the pavers and reduce the amount of weeds.

Super Seal 25 is not suggested for Clay Pavers.

Yes, you will need additional coats to even it out. BTW, this product is not suggested for plain poured concrete like yours. The reason is that it dries blotchy and uneven like your pictures.

This is not plain poured concrete, this is textured pool deck

Yes, but it is not a decorative concrete surface like stamped, pavers, etc. This is very porous and is why it is drying unevenly.

Does super seal 25 protect concrete from salt in the winter melting from vehicles? No salt will be applied to the driveway but I’m sure some will be brought in from the road.
    Thanks

    Hi

I have a ~400 sq ft Stamped patio that is 11 years old. It hasn't been sealer at 5-6 years. I just power washed it today and 25% of the old solvent based sealer is still on the concrete. I am interested in using the Superseal-25 product. will 3 gallons be enough? can it be shipped to NY? how long to get it if i order tomorrow?
    thanks

I just applied SS25 to my colored concrete and a thunder storm popped up before it was dry. What do i need to do when it dries. I believe apply Xylene and then re-coat. How is the best way to apply Xylene and do I have to rinse off xylene before re-coating with SS25

There is no way to answer how to best fix until it is dry from the rain. Best to wait until it is dry and send a picture or two.

It appears that most of the porch was dry enough and it did not harm the sealer. The pictures show the bad areas where the sealer was mostly washed away. What do you recommend

Do the xylene first, let dry and recoat. No need to rinse the xylene. Spray it on and let dry.

I bought 2 5gal cans last summer and they have been in my garage through the winter and this hot summer. Temperatures got quite cold this past winter but not sure if it got cold enough to freeze the Super Seal 25. Can this product still be used?

Open them up and make sure they are clear and have not turned white or have strings/clumps. If no, then they should be okay to use.

Also— what caused this issue so I can avoide it next time.

How do I apply xylene solvent? Do i reapply sealer after?

One gallon, you can get it at any local paint store. Apply to affected areas with a brush or pour it on. No need to reaply sealer. It is just resetting the sealer. It most likely happened since the sealer was not fully cured.

Applied SS25 about 3 days ago. Everything was fine. I noticed after it rained yesterday, a milky white haze on top of the pavers. Any solution to fix it?

The maximum temperature for application is 100 degrees F, is that referring to air or patio surface temperature?
My patio is in full sun and gets much hotter than the air temperature.

Surface temp. Try to apply first thing in the morning or later in the day as the sun is setting.

I stained a stamped concrete patio 8 to 9 years ago and used the Super Seal 25 to seal it. There are areas where the color is starting to wear off, can I use a pigmented Super Seal 25 and reseal over the top or do I have to strip it down to the concrete and start over?

I used SS25 on a entry walk and on a stamped concrete patio - 5 years ago. The entry walk, like an adjoining driveway is concrete with what looks like ground up shells for aggregate - fairly rough and porous, not troweled that I can tell and was untreated for 20 years by previous owner. I am really impressed with the performance on the entry walk. It still looks good after 5 years of SW Florida weather. The driveway was pressure washed at the same time but unsealed and is as dingy as you might imagine. The stamped concrete patio wasn't as successful. It didn't seem to improve the surface or last very long. I'm thinking this time around of using SS30. What is your opinion?

Paul-- as you saw from my post, part of my sidewalk gets intense FL sun, while other parts are more covered like you suggest. I applied the aromatic solvent to restore original color and then did reseal with SS25 and all is, for now, very good/back to normal. A difference in our situations is that I previously had a few SS25 coats on my sidewalk, whereas you state that your pool deck has never been sealed. The opw folks can comment on whether there is any product you might consider using to pretreat to better calibrate the sun v shade areas like the aromatic solvent product, which has worked well twice for me. I would not hesitate using SS25 for your pool deck given my experience. I can offer you additional suggestions, but I will say that I have used posts on this site before and have found the opw recommendations very helpful. Good luck! Allan

I have a 15 year old stamped concrete pool deck that has never been sealed. The portion under the winter cover has retained its color, but the rest has lost almost all color. Is Super Seal 25 the right product for me?

Yes, that is correct. This will enhance the color similar to if wet with water.
