altOur #1 Selling Paver Sealer Product!

SuperSeal Brick Paver Sealer is a clear non-yellowing solvent based acrylic sealer that will protect your Concrete Brick Pavers and Decorative Concrete surfaces from the sun's U.V. damaging rays, heavy traffic, oil, and other foreign objects. SuperSeal will enhance the natural appearance of your Brick Pavers and Decorative Concrete with a "wet" look but will not make the Brick Pavers slippery. SuperSeal Brick Paver Sealer can be used for Stamped Concrete, Stamped Cement, Decorative Cement, Concrete Brick Pavers, Acid Stained Cement, Concrete Stains, and Exposed Aggregate.

SuperSeal Brick Paver Sealer is a much higher solid content (25%) than similar water based (7-10%) products.

SuperSeal Brick Paver Sealer can be sprayed on with the Chapin 1949 Concrete Sprayer or applied with a 1/2" roller cover. It is to thick for a plastic "inexpensive" sprayer.

SuperSeal Brick Paver Sealer will help solidify sand in between the pavers and reduce the amount of weeds.

Super Seal 25 is not suggested for Clay Pavers.

Also— what caused this issue so I can avoide it next time.

How do I apply xylene solvent? Do i reapply sealer after?

One gallon, you can get it at any local paint store. Apply to affected areas with a brush or pour it on. No need to reaply sealer. It is just resetting the sealer. It most likely happened since the sealer was not fully cured.

Applied SS25 about 3 days ago. Everything was fine. I noticed after it rained yesterday, a milky white haze on top of the pavers. Any solution to fix it?

The maximum temperature for application is 100 degrees F, is that referring to air or patio surface temperature?
My patio is in full sun and gets much hotter than the air temperature.

I stained a stamped concrete patio 8 to 9 years ago and used the Super Seal 25 to seal it. There are areas where the color is starting to wear off, can I use a pigmented Super Seal 25 and reseal over the top or do I have to strip it down to the concrete and start over?

I used SS25 on a entry walk and on a stamped concrete patio - 5 years ago. The entry walk, like an adjoining driveway is concrete with what looks like ground up shells for aggregate - fairly rough and porous, not troweled that I can tell and was untreated for 20 years by previous owner. I am really impressed with the performance on the entry walk. It still looks good after 5 years of SW Florida weather. The driveway was pressure washed at the same time but unsealed and is as dingy as you might imagine. The stamped concrete patio wasn't as successful. It didn't seem to improve the surface or last very long. I'm thinking this time around of using SS30. What is your opinion?

Paul-- as you saw from my post, part of my sidewalk gets intense FL sun, while other parts are more covered like you suggest. I applied the aromatic solvent to restore original color and then did reseal with SS25 and all is, for now, very good/back to normal. A difference in our situations is that I previously had a few SS25 coats on my sidewalk, whereas you state that your pool deck has never been sealed. The opw folks can comment on whether there is any product you might consider using to pretreat to better calibrate the sun v shade areas like the aromatic solvent product, which has worked well twice for me. I would not hesitate using SS25 for your pool deck given my experience. I can offer you additional suggestions, but I will say that I have used posts on this site before and have found the opw recommendations very helpful. Good luck! Allan

I have a 15 year old stamped concrete pool deck that has never been sealed. The portion under the winter cover has retained its color, but the rest has lost almost all color. Is Super Seal 25 the right product for me?

Yes, that is correct. This will enhance the color similar to if wet with water.

The SS25 is non-yellowing and the discoloration your are getting is not coming from the from the sealer. Something else is causing this, not sure what though. Maybe rust from sprinklers? Try the Aromatic Solvent again to restore the color and the shine. We would not suggest resealing yet.

I have about 3-4 prior coats of SuperSeal 25 on my sidewalk pavers over the past 6 years or so. Last October, a portion of the sidewalk turned yellow; I posted that and you recommended I apply aromatic 100 solvent-- which worked. As the FL sun has done its deal the past 12 months, however, the sidewalk is now almost completely "yellowed". The last SuperSeal 25 coat was about 2 years ago. My question: can I: (a) re-apply SuperSeal 25 over current situation; (b) apply aromatic 100 and then apply SuperSeal; or (c) do I have to strip what exists? My reticence in option (c) is sidewalk proximity to plant material if I have to flush away strip application. Please advise, as I have had great performance with the SuperSeal 25 product until this past year-- thanks.

After stripping our driveway with your stripper, we see some powder white on some of the pavers. Will you his just wash off and will a 1800psi do the work? Which sealer is best for a 12 year old paver driveway?

I have brick/concrete pavers that were sealed with a water based sealer called Seal N Lock Super Wet look about 2.5 years ago. Not happy with the durability of that product. Any concerns with applying the Super Seal 25 on the pavers previously sealed with Seal N Lock? Also, is it best to apply Super Seal with a sprayer or a roller? If a roller what type of roller would you recommend. Also, the pavers are around the pool and will Super Seal 25 be slippery when wet. Thank you and have a nice day

Please post a picture of the current condition with the Seal N Lock on it. Most use a roller. You can add the Super Grip into the product for traction around a pool if needed.

This is an issue with the sun and stamped concrete. Apply a solvent called Xylene to the areas just as the sun goes down, late in the day. It will melt the bubbles and dry over night.
