This has never been possible in the past because if you wanted to filter the damaging UV rays from the sun you needed to add a tint. The tint would act as the “UV Absorber” prolonging the graying effect. Nano-Technology has now entered the Wood and Deck Stain Industry!
Defy Extreme Wood Stain is the first to utilize the ability to add Zinc Oxides to their product. Zinc Oxide is the same ingredient that is found in commercial sunscreens. When you reduce the size of these zinc oxide particles with Nano-Technology, you will have 30 trillion particles per square inch. This will leave a “Crystal Clear” wood stain that will dry without changing or enhancing the wood.
